It’s My Time

‘It’s My Time’ was co-commissioned by EncoreEast and DanceEast to be premiered at ‘HOST 2022: Let’s Create’. The pandemic forced dancers to find new ways of continuing to dance, coming together virtually and making work for film and outdoors. We wanted to reflect this burgeoning of innovation and creativity and designed ‘It’s My Time’ to celebrate dance and age and performed outdoors, in the Courtyard behind DanceEast. With choreography and costumes by Luca Braccia in collaboration with the dancers, ‘It’s My Time’ brought together an eclectic mix of ideas that, as Luca described, included something of him and something of the dancers.
