Pushing Boundaries was the first intensive residency in the UK by the world-renowned choreographer and teacher Galit Liss. The project was produced by EncoreEast and continues our aim to challenge expectations and raise ambitions for older dancers. 19 selected dancers embarked on a four-day ‘laboratory’ exploring body research through the ‘Gila language’, seeking to uncover the unique movement portrait of each dancer.
