Almost 60 people signed up for the Open Workshop – hurrah! What a powerful demonstration of older dancers’ artistic curiosity and ambition.

Thrust into the midst of going it alone as a company, some brave EncoreEast members wanted to try their hands at choreography the journey proved to be both exciting, challenging and in many ways highly successful.

In a period of few opportunities for live performance or awards ceremonies, EncoreEast is particularly thrilled that some of our special friends were nominated with some winning in their category at the Critic’s Circle National Dance Awards 2021.
