CALL OUT FOR FILMS

HOST is the biennial celebration of dance and age co-produced by DanceEast and EncoreEast. Offering a rare opportunity to share practice across the ever-evolving network of older dancers, groups and companies, HOST is ambitious to push boundaries, challenge perceptions and champion excellence.

Applications inviting older dancers to submit dance films are now open. These films will be shared at HOST 2026 on Tuesday 5 May at the Jerwood DanceHouse in Ipswich.

HOST 2026 
The fifth edition of HOST will shine a spotlight on Fusion, encouraging participants to explore, create, share and express themselves through the dynamic language of dance.
Fusion dance is a celebration of the evolving nature of art and culture. Dance evolves, by pushing boundaries, sharing practice and exploring new creativity. Fusion brings fresh perspectives and dynamic energy.

A selection of films will be chosen to be screened live at the event.
