Jasmin Vardimon Company are performing Alice at DanceEast from 13 to 18 December. The trailer showing in the foyer of DanceEast looks fantastic. I love doing workshops connected to a performance and find they enhance each other.  There is something special about working with people who are living and breathing the work, who understand the thinking behind it and how it has reached the stage. Sharing this experience adds a new dimension to the experience of watching. It is always thrilling to recognise a couple of movements from the workshop being expertly performed.

On Wednesday 14 December, 16.30 – 18.00 EncoreEast is hosting a workshop for adults that will include repertoire and creative work, and the Company has advised us to wear trainers. I am intrigued!
