Ollie Robertson had planned the workshop well and seemed to come to us without the prejudice sometimes afforded to the older dancer.

True to it’s title Lore is rich in symbolism and references to folklore. It is a work about the world of ancient gods in the mists of time and the humans that have interacted with these gods

I love that moment when the audience starts to fill the auditorium. The outside world is brought in clinging to our clothing and in the buzz of conversation. Then the sudden hush where in the silence it is no longer ‘I’ but ‘we’ waiting in anticipation.
